WHO IS THE COOKIE FUND?
Gaining exposure to Bay Area nonprofit organizations and a deeper insight into their internal work was truly an enlightening experience. Surrounded by individuals who found unique ways of beautifully integrating their lust for a positive impact with action, a high school student named Claire Kim founded The Cookie Fund to pursue variant passions: fulfilling a childhood dream of running a business, finessing baking abilities, and ultimately empowering survivors of domestic violence in her community.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to advocate for Asian survivors of domestic violence by generating funds to improve access to essential resources and services. By combining the power of community, compassion, and philanthropy, we aim to raise awareness, foster empowerment, and help survivors live in safer, violence-free environments.
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE
Asian Women’s Center
As our goals align closely with the Asian Women’s Shelter (AWS), The Cookie Fund will donate 70% of gross profits to fund their essential services while keeping the remaining 30% to cover internal legal fees and expansion costs. We believe this partnership will amplify a collective impact in empowering survivors of domestic violence within our community, while raising awareness and progressing vital educational initiatives.
